Assuming you’re using a Linux distribution, like Raspbian or Noobs, you can change the password on your pi with the passwd command.

Here’s everything you’ll need to complete this guide:

To change the password you must be logged in to a shell. Assuming you’re using the default username and password, open a shell and type:

ssh pi@raspberrypi
