Mac Keyboard Symbol Reference Guide

This short guide serves as a quick reference to what the most common Mac keyboard symbols or modifiers mean.
This Mac keyboard symbol chart is especially useful if you’re trying to follow (or write) how-to guides and aren’t sure which keys you should press.
⌘ is the Command () key.
⌃ is the Control (ctrl) key.
⌥ is the Option (alt) key.
⇧ is the Shift key.
⇪ is the Caps Lock key.
fn is the Function (fn) key.
